OVERVIEW
Aerospace Engineering deals with the design, development, and manufacturing of flying machines and launch vehicles. Aerospace engineering is a combination of aeronautical engineering and astronautical engineering. It is the primary field of engineering concerned with the development of Aircraft and Spacecraft. In the Indian Context previously only the Aeronautical Engineering discipline was available however with increased demand in the aviation sector and growing research and development the demand for Aerospace Engineers has increased across the globe.
Aerospace Engineering science has developed to include technological breakthroughs. Aerospace engineers have a lot of opportunities in the commercial and defense sectors of the aviation and space industries. They have several chances in both the public and private sectors, with exposure to both domestic and international organizations. Aerospace engineers are drawn to space exploration research. Drone technology promises to be an exciting moment for aerospace engineers. Drone technologies, satellite technologies, autonomous systems, air transport systems, and space-based internet technologies promise to be exciting times for aerospace engineers.

Career in Aerospace Engineering
After doing B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering candidates can work as Aircraft production managers, Quality Control Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineers, Assistant Technical Officers or Thermal Design Engineers. These engineers are responsible for developing new technology in the field of aviation, defense and space exploration
Aerospace engineering is a rapidly growing field, and there is high demand for qualified Aerospace Engineers globally. India is the third-largest civil aviation market in the world, this is one of the reasons why aircraft manufacturers such as Airbus and Boeing are eager to establish themselves in India. According to data, the demand for aerospace engineers will grow by 8 percent from 2020-2030 as fast as the average for all occupations. Averaging 4000 job openings each year, Aerospace Engineering is a decade-long field with promising projections.
Some of the Popular Jobs Roles after completing B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering are: Aerospace Engineers, R&D Engineers, CAD Technicians, Design engineers, Manufacturing systems engineers and Materials engineers, etc.
